Keynote Speaker

You may need a keynote speaker for your business event. It’s tricky to find someone who will strike the balance between being informative and entertaining. We’ve all been at events where subject matter experts have droned on, (and on), in front of their many, many slides. A good speaker will research their audience, do subject matter research, decide on a key message and work out how to make all of that into an entertaining tale within the time allowed. They’ll also put a lot of work into looking spontaneous and happily field questions from the floor.

I’ve been delighted to speak at many seminars and events, including The National Tourism Conference, Chartered Accountants Members in Business Forum and South East Marketing Institute Web Pow Wow.

All speeches are tailor made for the event in question and, yes, I do charge a fee. However, each year a small budget is allocated to delivering some talks for free, usually for organisations that I have some connection with.

A small sample of topics delivered:

  • Building a Business in the Digital Age; Risks and Opportunities
  • Social Media for Accountants
  • Pricing for Professionals
  • Building Links, Growing Business

Once I’m in front of the audience, I really enjoy it and I’m pretty fearless! Here is a sample of my slides, it’s a short presentation that I did for Wexford Chamber of Commerce on Pricing for Professionals.
