Chartered Accountants Business Networking Group

I have recently taken over as Chair of Wexford Chartered Accountants Business Networking Group (CA BNG). Members in business and practice are welcome to attend our first meeting of 2013.

It’s not a stuffy group, nor is there a hard-sell of any kind. We have quite a range of knowledge, skills and connections between us and an exchange of a little bit of these will happen by default.

Date:                       Thursday, March 14, 2013

Time :                      6.30pm to 7.30pm

Venue:                    St Helen’s Bay Golf Club Kilrane, Co Wexford.

Speaker :                “ 10 Things That Have Changed in 10 Years ” by Billy Sweetman, partner in PwC, Wexford

CPD hours:             1

Spot Prize:            Dinner for 2 in St Helen’s Bay Golf Club.

Thanks to:

  • New BNG member, Kevin Doherty for arranging both the venue and the prize
  • Billy Sweetman for agreeing to be our guest speaker for the evening
  • Stephen Molloy, CAI, for facilitating the group
  • Member Ronan Tierney for starting the group and being our former Chair
  • George Delaney for sourcing a screen

Everyone will be asked to give a very brief  introduction, (What has changed for you in the last 10 years?), before Billy gives us his review of changes in the last decade. We’ll be keeping Greenwich Mean Time not Wexford time 🙂 If you are late, just come in and take a seat. ‘Foreigners’ from outside the county are most welcome. The only restriction is that you are a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

It’s a no-brainer to go. It’s free, it counts as CPD, you will learn something, it will be entertaining (T & Cs apply) and there is even a prize!  If you want to go, email me

See you Thursday?
